At Ironshield Home Protection (“IHP,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), customer satisfaction is our top priority. We understand that circumstances may change, and we strive to ensure a fair and transparent refund and cancellation process for all home protection plans and services.

1. Plan Cancellations
​
You may cancel your Ironshield Home Protection plan at any time by contacting our customer service department at 1(855)814-6693 or by emailing support@ironshieldhomeprotection.com.

Within the first 30 days:
If you cancel your plan within 30 days of the order date and have not filed a claim, you are entitled to a full refund of any paid contract fees. -
After 30 days:
If you cancel after the first 30 days, you will receive a pro-rated refund based on the remaining contract term, minus any service costs incurred by IHP, including approved or pending claims, and a small administrative fee (as permitted by state law).​

2. How Refunds Are Processed
​
Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within 10–14 business days after cancellation is confirmed. If you made payment by check, refunds may take slightly longer to process.
Refunds may be adjusted for any outstanding service fees, unpaid invoices, or amounts owed under your plan.

3. Ironshield’s Right to Offer Cash Back in Lieu of Repair or Replacement
​
Ironshield Home Protection reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to offer a cash payment in lieu of repair or replacement of any covered system, component, or appliance.
The cash amount will be equal to IHP’s actual cost to repair or replace the covered item — which may, at times, be less than the retail cost a customer might pay independently.
This approach allows IHP to maintain flexible service solutions while ensuring that customers receive fair value consistent with the terms of their protection plan.

4. Promotional Offers
First Month Free
​
The “First Month Free” promotion is available only with the purchase of a Single Payment home protection plan.

The promotional month applies to the initial contract term and cannot be combined with other discounts or offers.

If the plan is canceled during the promotional period, no monetary refund will be issued for the free month.

Other Promotions
​
Any other promotional offers, incentives, or discounts provided by IHP are subject to their specific terms and conditions, which may vary by promotion.

5. Non-Refundable Fees
​
The following fees are non-refundable once services have been rendered or claims initiated:

6. State-Specific Rights
​
Certain states may have specific cancellation or refund regulations that provide additional consumer rights. Where applicable, Ironshield Home Protection will comply with all relevant state laws regarding cancellation and refund practices.

7. Modifications to This Policy

Ironshield Home Protection reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website with a new “Effective Date.” Continued use of our Services after updates constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the revised policy.
